Our AML and Verification Commitment
Roby Casino operates under Curaçao eGaming licence 8048/JAZ2024-055. On this page we set out exactly how we verify your identity, monitor transactions and meet our anti-money-laundering obligations.
Our AML Policy
Money laundering and the financing of terrorism are criminal offences in every jurisdiction we serve, and we treat them as such. As the holder of Curaçao eGaming licence 8048/JAZ2024-055, we apply the anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing rules of our licence jurisdiction to every account opened on robycasino-aud.com, regardless of the country you play from.
We operate a risk-based programme. That means we assess each account for risk factors such as unusual deposit patterns, use of multiple payment methods and discrepancies between your stated profile and your actual play, and we escalate anything we cannot explain. All checks are documented and auditable by our regulator.
When We Verify Your Identity
Verification follows three triggers. At registration we run electronic identity and age checks against your details, so an account is never fully active until we confirm you are at least 18 years old. Before your first withdrawal we require full KYC: a government-issued ID, proof of address and proof that the payment method belongs to you. Beyond that, threshold checks apply at AUD 2,300 in cumulative deposits and again at higher cumulative deposit levels, where we re-confirm your details before further play.
| Trigger | What we require |
|---|---|
| Registration | Electronic age and identity check, date of birth confirmation |
| First withdrawal | Full KYC: ID, proof of address, payment method ownership |
| AUD 2,300 cumulative deposits | Re-verification of identity documents |
| Ongoing monitoring | Updated documents when originals expire |
How Verification Works
Your documents are stored on encrypted servers with strict access controls. Only authorised compliance staff can view them, each access is logged, and we never share verification files with third parties except where the law or our regulator requires it.
- Log in and open the Verification tab in your account profile.
- Upload a photo of your ID (passport, driver licence or national ID card) showing all four corners, unaltered and in colour.
- Upload a proof of address dated within the last 3 months (utility bill, bank statement or tenancy agreement).
- Upload proof of payment method ownership: a photo of the card showing the last 4 digits, or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet address.
- Our compliance team reviews the files, typically within 24 hours and in most cases faster.
- You receive the result by email; if anything is unclear we request one specific replacement rather than restarting the whole check.
Source of Funds Requests
Most players will never be asked for a source-of-funds declaration. We request it when your deposits exceed what your profile and play history would predict, or when a deposit or series of deposits crosses a level our risk engine flags for review. It is a standard AML obligation, not an accusation.
If we do ask, acceptable evidence includes payslips, a recent tax return, bank statements showing the funds arriving in your account, sale contracts for property or shares, or inheritance documentation. A short written explanation is enough to start; we will tell you precisely which records close the query. Funds we cannot trace to a lawful source are returned to their origin and the account is closed.
